Cool conditions were forecasted in Perth on the second day of the Youth Championships, with Trigg Island SLSC youth members, getting ready to compete in the final day of events, which spanned across relays, beach flags and the 2km Ocean Swim.
On day 2, our member’s showed grit and determination throughout their events, with the addition of an electric crowd of family, and supporters whom packed out “The Cauldron” (Scarborough Beach Ampitheatre) during the beach flag events.
In total we had 17 member’s reach the finals of events for the day, which is an amazing effort considering the caliber of competition they faced, and a total of 9 youth’s receiving medals (along with 3 senior club member’s receiving medals)
