Club Facilities

Leisure Facilities

Our club rooms offer members an open, multi purpose space, featuring bifold doors that open out into the large covered alfresco area at one end, with ocean views at the other. The bar and lounge on the western side opens out into a second outdoor area, with direct ocean views. Throughout the season the club hosts various events for members to enjoy the clubs’ facilities and location. With built in barbeques, a full commercial kitchen and the club kiosk operating in season and of course the fantastic view, Trigg Island SLSC clubrooms are hard to beat.

Active Member Facilities

Gear Shed

The gear shed is located on the Southern side of the clubrooms. It stores the club’s training and surf sports equipment such as surf boats, boards and ski’s. It also houses the club’s beach vehicles and lifesaving equipment, which is essential to the running of the club.

Racks are available for members to store their own boards and ski’s, however space is at a premium and members must apply to be allocated a position. Members looking to apply for a spot should contact the club Admin Office.

The Gym

The gym is located in the Southern end of the Gear Shed and is complete with strength and cardio training equipment. Members seeking gym access pay an annual Gym Levy and are then issued with a swipe card.  Members looking for more information on the Gym should contact the Club Admin Office. Members using the gym are expected to abide by the club’s Gym Code of Conduct.

Change Rooms

Male and Female change rooms, including showers, are located next to the Gym. Access is by swipe card. Swipe cards can be purchased from the Club Admin Office.

Merchandise Shop

The club merchandise shop is open on Sunday mornings during the season. It is located within the club’s facilities, opposite the Kiosk. The friendly staff will do their best to help, but please remember they are all volunteers giving up their own time. Typical items available for purchase at reasonable prices include club bathers, training and competition caps, training vests, backpacks, jackets, shirts, and more.

Lifesaving Facilities

Patrol Room/First Aid Room

The Patrol Room/First Aid Room is located at the front (Oceanside) of the Gear Shed, in close proximity to the beach. Patrolling members are required to report to their Patrol Captain in this room, prior to the start of their rostered patrol. The room also houses a first aid facility, which is fully equipped and ready for emergency situations.

Training Facilities

Training Room

Trigg Island SLSC has a dedicated training room which is housed within the main club rooms. The training room is a dedicated space for theory and dry practical components of surf lifesaving qualifications to take place. Conveniently, all equipment and furniture is stored within, making training sessions easier for both trainers and participants, in an effort to deliver the best possible standard of education. The training room is sometimes hired for use by other community organisations such as Surfing WA, making it an asset to the club.

Facilities for Hire

Our bar, hall, and courtyard area are available for hire and make a fantastic and affordable venue for all types of celebrations. To find out more about hiring our venue, click here to visit our Venue Hire page.

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club acknowledges the traditional owners, the Whadjuk People of the Noongar Nation, of the beach on which we work and play. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and are grateful for their continuing connection to the land, sea and sky.
