Pete Savage Awarded Life Membership

On the 10th of June 2022, Trigg Island SLSC held this year’s Annual General Meeting for its membership.
Every year, this meeting gives insights to the membership about its operations and data. It offers opportunities for committees within the club to present changes or additions, which are furthermore voted on by the membership.
At this year’s AGM, the Life Membership Committee presented to the members a breakdown of what the committee does including; the maintenance of the 15 year-25 years service board and recognize members who are due SLSWA service awards. In addition, they also collaborate to decide on any future life memberships to be awarded.
Life membership is the highest honour a club can bestow upon a member.

At this year’s AGM, one nomination was placed forward for Life membership, which was voted unanimously upon for Pete Savage.

We’d like to congratulate Pete on being awarded this honour. After years of selfless service to the club, we couldn’t think of a more fitting recognition for the time and passion given.

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club acknowledges the traditional owners, the Whadjuk People of the Noongar Nation, of the beach on which we work and play. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and are grateful for their continuing connection to the land, sea and sky.
