Trigg Island SLSC Shows Dominance at SunSmart Youth/Open Carnival in Secret Harbour

What a day Saturday the 11th of November was for Trigg Island SLSC Competitors at the SunSmart Youth / Open Carnival, hosted by Secret Harbour SLSC. The stakes were high for this particular event, as it was the only opportunity for members to be scouted and potentially selected for this season’s Western Suns Teams, & Surf League Teams for the upcoming carnivals over east, in January.
Trigg Island SLSC was strongly represented by members who competed in multiple different disciplines, giving all they could for not just points that contribute to the overall standing for this year’s State Championship Club but also for a coveted spot. Our competitors did not disappoint, with the green and red, often finishing within the top 6, mostly in the top 3 of the events they took part in.
We are incredibly proud of everyone’s efforts on this day, and whilst conditions weren’t super favourable, all our competitors rose in adversity to push to be their best.
