Strong Performances at this Year’s SLSWA 2023 Pool Rescue Championships

HBF Stadium was alive with competitors and supporters over the 15th – 16th of July this year, as competitors from 14 Surf Clubs across WA descended on the venue for this year’s 2023 Pool Rescue Championships.
Trigg Island’s kings of the pool (Jake Smith, Kelton Rothnie & Harrison Hynes) put on an impressive display of sportsmanship and performance over the 2 days, whilst Eleanor Flowers showed her strength in competition, winning multiple events.
Our young guns also demonstrated that the future is bright for our Pool Rescue team, with Georgia Flowers, Oliver Browne, and Ellie Neervoort giving dominant performances.
Overall Trigg Island SLSC finished 6th with a total of 180 Points, and a total of 41 Medals
